Dirk

Dirk is some kind of sneaky assassin, which in this case amounts to wearing black leather and acting cool. Despite his supposed ‘Ninjika’ heritage and training, he packs a remarkably ineffectual skill-set. He’s very good at stealing, and yet every enemy with items worth stealing is immune to theft. He’s good at falling, but this amounts to reducing insignificant falling damage by an insignificant amount. He’s very resistant to Acid damage, yet only one enemy in the game uses Acid attacks. The list goes on, but you get the picture. If you’d like to recruit this resourceful ally, however, just slip him a few shiny objects.

Piffer

Piffer is another Dwarf.. but unlike Sandra, Piffer is some kind of hostile, antisocial kleptomaniac who can barely stand the company of other Dwarves, let alone anyone else. If he sees you giving shiny objects to Sandra, he’ll attack you on the spot, and only Sandra seems to have any chance of getting on his good side.
